The Guild of Nurses

The City of London Guild of Nurses

For the Nursing Profession - past, present and future

Whether or not you are a Freeman of the Guild of Nurses you can make a difference by supporting the Company of Nurses Charitable Trust. Whatever sum you are able to donate will help us to further the objects of the Trust, thereby giving much needed support to members of the nursing profession, and in turn helping to improve patient care.

If you would like to make a donation to the Trust please make your cheque payable to ‘The Company of Nurses Charitable Trust’.  A regular payment to the Trust would soon add up and you may wish to complete a Standing Order form, a copy of which can be downloaded here.  Even a small sum monthly/annually can make a real difference.

In addition to the Trust’s General Fund, the Trustees administer the Chantry Robinson Fund, in accordance with the wishes of the benefactors. Court Assistant Ann Chantry-Price and her daughters, Freeman Abi Wren and Clare Chapple have named this fund after Ann’s father, Les Robinson. He wanted his legacy to them to “support nurses who make a positive difference to patients”. If you would like to learn more about this fund, please click here.

If  you are a UK tax payer then the Trust can increase your donation by an extra 25p for every £1 you donate by claiming Gift Aid from HM Revenue & Customs.  The Gift Aid form can be downloaded here. Please complete the form and forward it with your cheque to:

The Secretary to the Trustees, The Company of Nurses Charitable Trust, c/o The Guild of Nurses, Apothecaries' Hall, Black Friars Lane, London EC4V 6EJ
